They should've gotten some younger writer who grew up on the original series to write the comic. Find someone who had loads of dumb ideas while watching it as a kid and pair them up with an artist that brings some energy to the page, because OP's example looks super static.

The artist can draw some cool aliens and okay looking adult men but when it comes to the kids and the Omnitrix the art is super inconsistent, and the posing seems rather stiff, even in situations where it shouldn't, like fight scenes.
