I've noticed that, as time passes on, I find the "good movie/bad movie" dichotomy less important than the "interesting movie/uninteresting movie" one. More and more often, I find myself more stimulated by a film that fails on it's own and intriguing terms than by one that half-delivers in the most boring and safe way possible. I feel more alive watching, let's say, Andy Serkis' Animal Farm than The Day The Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, which is technically better but it interests me a thousand times less.
art is subjective so the ultimate judge should be yourself
>>154630688>i feel more alive farting for freedom than chewing bubblegumFTFY
>>154630688You're an idiot
>>154630765He's right tho
>>154630688Well, as long as you can admit that the movie IS bad but you enjoy it regardless, there's not really a problem. There's nothing worse than someone trying to hide themselves behind flimsy excuses rather than just admit that they like a sub-par movie, like there's anything wrong with that.

>>154630710Art is subjective, but there are objectively retarded people
>>154630688No this is garbage.
>>154631542Exactly, OP is better off watching the 99 adaptation. (And even that has its own flaws, as it's yet another AF adaptation that scrubs the ending.)
DUDE COMMUNISM LMAO
>>154630688Idiotic. When discussing if a movie is good or bad, discussing WHY it is good or bad is what matters. Brainless faggots, like you, who feel compelled to have an opinion, but cannot articulate a genuine thought about anything, try to engineer situations where they can feel like they are still having a substantive discussion about a topic without actually having to have any real, coherent thoughts.
>>154630688>"The anons looked from pig to OP, and from OP to pig, and from pig to OP again; but already it was impossible to say which was which."
>>154632088I thought it was clever that the 99 adaptation had the "morph" viewed through a distorted mirror. Other adaptations took it too literally.
>>154632088>The only thing I knew for sure was they were slobbering on that knob grouped together tightly like a faggot!
