>>154634235Maybe it. It sounds like it had a lot of potential to fuck up. The actors they had planned for Alan and Guy don't really seem fitting for the role. Finn especially - I can picture him getting knocked out by Batman in one punch, but I can't picture him crushing a beer can on his forehead and then fighting an alien bare-handed without his lantern ring.
>>154634235Why you keep posting this garbage fanfic?
>>154634264>Finn especiallyBut you can see 60's year old Nathan doing any of that?
>>154634235Tobias Menzies would be wasted on capeshit.
>>154634273I could see Batman knocking him the fuck out in one punch, yeah. But otherwise? Naw. Maybe 30 years ago he could've been an abrasive wiseass version of Guy, but I don't think he's a good choice for Guy now and I don't think he'd ever really have been. I didn't really hate him in Gunn's Superman, but I didn't really like him, either. It could've been a lot better, but it also could've been a lot worse. I'd be hard pressed to name someone that I think would be a good choice, too. I admit that.
>>154634672He should have been Hal ages ago—it’s exactly the kind of role that fits Nathan’s usual play style. His portrayal of Guy felt more like a poor caricature of the character.
>>154634738He did alright voicing him in a couple of the animated movies.
