what comic did you read today
I haven't even had breakfast, but yesterday I reread the latest issues of Supergirl and Absolute Martian Manhunter and over the weekend I was going through some old Captain America comics. Today I will be reading the first of the new Concrete story and then decide if I want to start on Blackhawk or Rip Hunter Time Master.
>>154638188Batman: Wrath of the Joker
>>154638279>Absolute Martian Manhunterincredibly overrated imo >Rip Hunter Time Master.Rip is a cuck, waverider is cooler
>>154638188Yesterday I read Top Ten: Beyond the Furthest Precinct. The dropoff in quality from Moore to the next guy is crazy. The same thing happened with the Tom Strong compendium.
>>154638188Read all of Astro City’s first series today (the first six issues). I have almost the entire second series complete in print (just missing one issue), but I’ve been holding off on reading it until I could find the first series for an affordable price. That doesn’t seem to be possible at the moment, and I’ve been waiting several years now, so I decided to pull the trigger early since I’m going through the wringer irl. No regrets, this series is fucking great. Kurt works his magic once again. Probably going to devour every single spin-off I can get my hands on once I’m done with the first two series, lol.
>>154638188Finished Madman Comics by Allred. It was okay.
>>154638188radiant
>>154638188This could have been better.
Read the first issue of Beast of Boriken. Seems alright so far. An activist in Puerto Rico is opposing some development project by investors when a cryptid shows up and goes on a rampage.
i didnt
>>154638188Comics are for kids.
>>154640986this. i went to work like an adult.
>>154640986No, you're thinking of cartoons.

>>154642351Thanks
>>154642373no problem anon
>>154638188The BoysIt's actually not bad in spite of how goofy Ennis can be
>>154643766people on this board over-hate ennis and ellis and azzarello
>>154644158People here seem to hate everything.
read more comics !
>>154638188The current The Phantom thread got me interested in seeing what he's about. Found some of the mid 60s issues of his and read a couple. It's some cool pulpy adventure stuff. Got me wanting to look around for his older issues if they're on some of the other comic sites.
>>154638188I caught up on McKay's moon knight, Kamen America, and I'm probably gonna catch up on the Absolute Universe and the Skybound stuff I haven't been keeping up with.I might bother to trudge through the new ultimate stuff just to say I actually did read it after I fell off upon hearing it was just gonna get canceled and memoryholed and thus was pointless, but that's later. Trying some shit from Image now called Radiant Black, dunno how that's gonna go but the cover at least looks kinda cool.
Whatever Happened to the Main of Tomorrow deluxe edition. Has the aforementioned title story, a swamp thing crossover and Annual 11.
>>154638188Manga, and it's superior, and there's a lot more to read than the "few" good comics. Also, webcomics too.
>>154647629>Also, webcomics too.Ooh, so close.
>>154647629Oh no. He's retarded.
I'm reading Turok: Dinosaur Hunter. It's great so far.
>>154647762You mean Son of Stone, surely.
>>154647629Basado
>>154645294sadly the whole site is like this now
>>154647316>McKay's moon knight, why do they keep relaunching it instead of just having it be one long run
>>154647316>I might bother to trudge through the new ultimate stuffDon't.
>>154645294That's sort of everywhere on the internet really. You just have to roll with it and find those open to stuff.
>>154649136DESU I'm like 80% sure it's somebody in house trying to avoid any internal drama stemming from giving him a gigantic bronze-age type run on a character which is a privilege most of the office would kill for by basically abusing the fact that the bulk of the bullpen are retarded and easily distracted/confused and they're only getting away with it because nobody normally gives a fuck about Moon Knight enough to want to write him. It's great though because IMHO this is like Marvel's only good line right now.>>154650618It's honestly mostly a "I want to be able to argue from a position of authority" thing and a "It's not like I'm paying for this anyway so I might as well see it through" thing.
>>154652124Oh and read some of Radiant Black, and it started alright but it quickly became shit because of complexity addiction from the author, cool "What if Jack Kirby has an art tablet from 2020 and was addicted to Super Sentai" art design I guess though.
>>154645559I'm trying too.
>>154652124>It's honestly mostly a "I want to be able to argue from a position of authority" thing and a "It's not like I'm paying for this anyway so I might as well see it through" thing. That's a shame. If you're willing to waste this much time of something so subpar and forgettable, go ahead, but there are better comics to read.
>>154638188I saw a thread on Justice, so I may read that today.
>>154653601Try harder.
>>154647629Bait used to be believable.
>>154657739Not really.
I don't feel so good
Formerly known as Justice League. Fun going back to the old JLI vein.
>>154658647I still haven't read it.
