Manhunter worked as an extension since it was all metaphysical bullshit and they could go as out there as they wanted, there were one-issue stories before it, after all. GA is a mystery. Unless they were always planning on leaving it a mystery, then that means they either have to reveal at 6 and then pivot into another story (The fallout of the reveal? Can that carry 6 issues?) or just extend the mystery for another 6 issues which can easily feel like padding. I'm hopeful that it'll be good, but this is not a series that needed an extension by any means.
