Ugh, I expected to see more Wolverine, but he was sidelined. Loved seeing more of Sabretooth, I miss the original voice’s manicality, and in general he seemed a lot tamer than the original series’ first season. I thought Wolverine wouldn’t break bread with him for any reason, the way I remember them fighting. Maybe somehting changed in a later episode? Anyone knows? Also, a bit disappointed in general, getting characters in just to get them killed to establish stakese. But I’m not into horror anyway. Omega Red was great, but mostly off-screen, I wanted to see his Omega Destroyer on screen…Also Wolverine getting his adamantium just like that, in a few seconds, wow. It didn’t use to work that way, but I guess - medical advances, huh? Also he used to purge the Brood on his own in the original, but ok - he didn’t have enough time and it was a new hybrid type. This is my favorite episode of the season so far, but I’ve seen people hate it online for “ruining characters” and rushing things. But I dunno, I thought they handled these characters as they were very well, they didn’t seem like they needed an entire episode dedicated to them. The horror movie angle worked rather well.
