I'm saying this as someone who isn't a Winx Club fan but the idea I have of the franchise is that it's like Sailor Moon, the heroines are the stars of the show and are attractive but aren't very sexualized or anything, they wear outfits that show their midriffs or tummies and Indeed, Musa wears an outfit where her pink panties are visible depending on the version or season but compared to something like Senran Kagura, the sexualization isn't much, which makes sense considering that it's meant to be a series mostly for 9-12 year olds or something like that age range, and also, like in Sailor Moon especially the original series, the girls wears different outfits throughout the franchise or have a good fashion sense, so, in both franchises it's "the girls can save the day, take the spotlight, they are attractive and also wear outfits that look really nice". Again, I say this as someone who isn't a Winx Club fan, but who knows, I may give Winx Club a chance someday, I like Sailor Moon but I didn't like what I initially watched of Winx Club when I tried to watch one or two episodes years ago.
