If any other indie pilot admitted to glossing over a crucial part of the animation process, you think he would have been forgiving? What I'll give him credit on is that he was among the first that clocked Hazbin Hotel as an inevitable writing mess. At the time, all we had was a decent pilot so this was unpopular but damn was he vindicated

I'm not sure how he supposedly made as many connections with other artists as he did, though. Dude seems like an obvious hanger-on. He must be extremely good at boosting egos or something. Unless he blows his connections out of proportion and his "friends" are just people he exchanged comments with a few times on social media and the projects he's "helped on" means he was just in the Discord server.

So I guess he was banking on his stellar dialog. To this day I can't remember a single fucking thing that happens in that episode. Every scene is two people talking about the most boring thing on the fucking planet and all I can think about is that someone spent time actually fucking writing this shit.
