even back then the book was kind of a gamble. Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman shuffled in and out but the book was a C lister parade. I love it but in retrospect it's amazing it got made and lasted.

IIRC they ended up undoing all of the shit people hated. Sue and Ralph were revived, Ted came back as a mentor figure for Jaime, Max got a redemption arc, Ice came back in a new body and then got her old body back, Guy Gardner became space pope...

and then DC just forgot all of them existed and now they're just in the background doing stuff sometimes.
