>>154715745>>154715163Adam has always been the better one, he applies a lot more cartooning and while he definitely took influence from other 90's artists he still has a style of his own. He can do basic 90's(like the Universal Marvel park) but also keeps fresh. Andy's really early stuff, like the Doc Savage series where he leaned into his father's style, was cool. But otherwise he just decided to be the guy you got if you couldn't get Silvestri, Jim Lee, Bagley, Keown, or McFarlane. Just riding their wave. He tries to lean into some more Joe influence in his DC stuff but his figure work is much weaker than the other two.

Was sold to a former student and cut down many of the classes(which had multiple mediums like painting or animating) down to just comic art. Also moved from an actual school building to a rented space in a building. Really seems dubious as a school these days, I believe there's no accreditation anymore either so it's all out of pocket.

I wasn't into capes growing up so the Kubert sons have little appeal to me, and on a technical front are deep within Joe's shadow anyway.But on topic; Diego Barreto (son of Eduardo) is pretty great, did a good run on the BOOM Escape From NY line.For the most part I find the sons of greats lacking; Jacob Phillips is just ok, doesn't have the same knack with a brush like Sean did but still early days. Gerardo Zaffino has all the flash of his dad Jorge, but doesn't actually draw comics anymore so loses points in my book. And his dad was more audacious in his mark-making, anyway.
