What's your favorite /co/ creepypasta?
The scariest one ever made:https://youtu.be/FoEawYAruYo?si=bXOhNwmOVxP_sEcL
>dude what if X character died>dude what if the entire show took place in hell or the protagonist is actually a schizo>dude what if there was a lost episode that was banned for being too scary
Hey anon, wanna see my head come off?
>>154716151Candle Cove, I guess. it’s the only /co/ related copypasta I know of that at least attempts to feel grounded,
>>154716151All of them sucked.
I like the Dark Side of Family Guy Season 8. It doesn't try to push the supernatural in anyway, instead being about some weird fuck who wormed his way into the writer's room.
>>154716151Candle Cove is good until they bring up the Skin Taker. Replace that character with something that doesn't sound as intentionally scary, and it's a lot better. Ted The Caver also did the same thing at the end where they hinted at beyond spoopy shit.
>>154716151Red Mist
>>154716449>filename4 seasons of that shit?
>>154716219>dude what if the entire show took place in hellThat was a real thing. (Granted, it's called "Miseryville" in-universe, but it's clearly Hell.)
>>154716151this is all a gigantic cancer
Are creepypastas still a thing or they just got completely replaced by ARGs?I can't recall the last one a new creepypasta came out
>>154718579They're still a thing, Resignation Incident was only written a couple years ago.
>>154716551This one, because they keep the supernatural subtle and open-ended and don't rely on AND THEN A HYPERREALISTIC SKELETON POPPED OUT shit
>>154716151Thirding Candle Cove.
What went wrong with analog horror?
>>154718816Trouble in Bikini Bottom was also a nice, subtle pasta. (And it was written by the same guy who did Resignation Incident, too.)
>>154718834The same problem with a lot of creepypastas, they keep piling on and on too much
>>154716151Learning with Pibby
Candle Cove. Everything else is dogshit
>>154718834It was never good when it tried to make monsters. Should've stayed real
>inb4 max and ruby autism
>>154718836NTA but I just checked ot out and wow, genuinely surprised at how good it was
>>154719128Exactly, it's a HUGE step up from a disgruntled employee. Manipulative parents burning a bootleg DVD for their kid is much more believable.
>>154716551>>154718816Came in here to post this. My favorite. Genuinely creepy.
>>154718919just like your drawings
>>154718834Largely made by people whose familiarity with "analog" technology, overly reliant on mascot horror writing, and who have no idea how to tell a story through snippets and miscellaneous documents, so they all end up copying each other's stupid ideas, leading to uncreative, ignorant inbreeding
>>154718836Holy shit that was actually really good. I was not expecting anything with actual quality on the fucking lostepisodecreepypasta wiki
>>154718962I don't know how did that series got Creepypasta'd
>>154716551This one has aged like wine for me over time, especially after watching the entire millions-strong ideological deathmatch over the Smiling Friends production.
>>154718579>or they just got completely replaced by ARGs?Conventional creepypasta was always a little muddled between stories that were genuinely trying to convince the reader they were real (/x/ stories now) and stuff that’s openly fictitious (the SCP Wiki and spin-offs now) and it suffered bad publicity from normalfags for it, which is one of the things that led to NoSleep almost completely supplanting it in the late 2010s. r/TwoSentenceHorror-type shit is what you have now, unfortunately.
>>154718834Unfortunately, it always sucked. I can’t name a single analog horror series I actually like besides Marble Hornets and ECKVA. I haven’t watched a ton of them, but when literally every one of the flagship entries that dominate the genre is bad, there is no fucking way you’re going to convince me to dig deeper.
>>154718836Damn, good rec. There's like 3 things that don't make much sense, but overall it's well written and the concept is pretty unique and great.
>>154718834It spilled into EAS videos and now they all look like VHS slop even if set in the 2010s
>>154720642Just like your life
>>154718026
>>154716219>lost episodeGosh, that's the most lame and cringe one. I'm glad this garbage is over. One of the very few things I hated about the 2000's internet
>>154718962The slapfight between the animator of that 0004 retake animation and Horrorfag that even involved the 83 year old woman who created Max and Ruby to sent a copyright takedown was something wild to lurk through in real time
>>154716151None of them
>>154724851It was based and you are dull
>>154726260I was trying to find a videopasta version that MozzerellaStick made... except it seems to be privated now? Their most popular videopasta (Resignation Incident) seems to be yeeted off the face of the Earth.https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEvwbox25WalsfrI4wUA6dWJid93aZRuY
