How would you reconceptualize the show to be more unique storytelling and concept wise?
In hindsight the show didn't have much leg to stand on beyond the 1800s London with Russian influences aesthetic with a little steam punk. Xero and all her alter egos being the same person doesn't leave much room to the imagination nor marketing potential. At the same time ironically the multi-tool talking object shouldn't have talked or should have been part of The Modifyers abilities rather than a separate person even if it's not human.
Also why didn't you assholes tell me copying art styles with modern technology was so easy? I just started out, I never knew pic related was possible for someone who couldn't draw. Fuck you guys for not telling me.

T.U.F.F. Puppy already did the secret 60s and 70s Hunie Pop spy and while it had success you can't say it was the next Pokemon, Power Rangers, Sailor Moon. Mechanics wise I wouldn't let the multi-functional weapon tool talk back, at best it be a robot assistant with no personality. Storytelling wise I'd make Xero's alter egos be their own main characters in a Spy vs Spy way where there is no good vs evil, they're all anti heroes and it's up to you who you want to choose to win, just like Total Drama Island, but ye know with actual likable characters and an interesting world. I also would add sci-fi elements in the medieval city rather than steampunk. I think it would be more interesting to have 50s sci-fi mixed with steampunk.

Sorry OP all I see is the porn.

>>154720319
No lie. I would actually make the porn canon. Making the show sexual for adults and not for kids, being rated R, will give it its own identity.

I do not care for Baron Vain as a villain or even a hero. We have plenty of flamboyant eccentric nutcases in cartoons. He's a dime a dozen and a piss in the ocean, yes a piss in the ocean. He feels like should have been a Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends villain.

Oh yeah? Then start analyzing the porn. I shit you not. Start reviewing, analyzing and argumenting why the porn was better than the pilot.
Why the hell did Zone use the Baron I will never understand, most annoying voice in porn award goes to ... seriously and again with the tentacles... and he picked a literal stick figure design and art style to draw the porn in, the most unsuitable art style.
Go ahead go ahead analyze said porn for why it's better than the pilot. There isn't even a chase sequence in the porn and there isn't enough Xero design.

NTA but I think Modifyers has appeal as a porn concept because it's spy fiction, which often flaunts sexy aesthetics: sexy people, sexy music, sexy fashion. It's trendy and sleek. It's why Austin Powers as a Bond parody worked, because it pulled from elements that were still present in the Bond stories.

Agent Xero as a disguise artist stopping bad guys gives her ample opportunity to end up in a lot of creative, sexy situations. When James Bond is caught in a trap, the threat is death. When Xero is caught in a trap, the threat is rape. She gets out of it but not before the viewer has a quick fap. You can spin basic Bond scenarios into Modifuckers loglines:
>Agent Xero test-trials out a bunch of gadgets that all backfire and fuck her over
>Agent Xero gives handies to people under the table during a high stakes poker game
>Agent Xero competes with a femme fatale to seduce a high-profile criminal and extract vital secrets
You can put her in different outfits, different roles, different situations, and still maintain the comedy. It doesn't have to follow a strict formula, it can still be funny but it can also be sexy too.

Definitely not that anon.
The spy stuff with shiny skintight suits and the detective spy fiction stuff is peak, but Zone once again had to ruin it with the ugly annoying tentacles.
The dissonance and contrast between Xero's design and the backgrounds and villains is incredibly clear. Kats also looks out of place, but he and Xero are the only humans we see, it would be weird to know that the humans are actually perfectly normal looking people and all the talking objects and anthro animals and tentacleguys are grotesque beings.
Characters like Stimpy or Earthworm Jim(if we forget he has well drawn body) would fit with the rest of the villains and the gothic backgrounds. Show feels almost like it would fit with Batman.

>The setting is split between two islands in the Sea of Uncert and Tea: The city of Aglopolis and the Nitherland.
>Lacey Shadows was Xero's original identity and she switched sides after finding real comradery within the Modifyers organization versus her time being raised in Baron Veign's organization
>Katz could turn into a panther
>The Modifyers organization is funded by shadowy rich British guys only known as T.H.E.M.

>The Overlord of all the underworld, the "Don" of all Villains.

>Part human, part Insect, He despises the Sun and anything warm & happy, and prefers the cold solitude of his airborne fortress, Vortis. He Never eats. He is vulgariously wealthy, and has but one motive for any scheme: "A whole lot of Money." He is forever bound to a world of Victorian-type

>technology and has disdain for anything modern. Unlike most villains, we actually like Baron Veign, and feel for him. After all, he's really cool.

>doesn't actually state what kind of insect he is
>doesn't state WHY we should like him
>plenty of grammar errors like an esl wrote it despite this supposedly being American.
Still quite a lot more to work with than previously, but 26 pages is still quite small.
However I did like the extra location idea and Xero's backstory, if only it had some actual concept art to get an idea what style they were going for.

Unbeknownst to the outside world Xero leads a double life, switching between Agent Xero, Modifyers’ ace super-sleuth, and the wiley mercenary goth-chick Lacey Shaddows who appears to be the spearhead of Baron Veign. As an agent for the Cause Of Good, Xero effectively thwarts the efforts of the underworld by infiltrating it as Lacey Shaddows. One moment she is a polite young lady with a charming Brit twang, and the next, a vulgar youth with a cockney drawl.

An orphan child who learned her ways on the streets, was adopted by the sinister Veign, who wanted to create the ultimate criminal, and in Lacey Shaddows he suceeded. He taught her well in the ways of crime, and she was trained to be an undefeatable fighting machine and an expert in stealth.

....Until she was captured by the Modifyers, who won her over to their side. And thus was the beginning of Agent Xero. It was with the Mods that young Xero felt the warmth and loyalty of real friends and family for the first time. But deep inside she struggles to supress the gnawings of her criminal past and still has a weakness for the hypnotic powers of Baron Veign.

Aside from her extraordinary abilities, Xero is still a reckless and mischeivous teenager who never takes her work too seriously to some have fun with it. She has a dreadfully short attention span, likes anything shiney, and has a positive talent for not following directions. She grows bored easily and craves action and danger. She simply HAS to change outfits constantly to suit what she feels is nessesary for the task at hand. She hates technology and it's proper use....which often results in humorous consequences.

She has ultr-keen "street senses" and operates purely on intuition, unlike her field part-
