There was one year where I recall thinking there were waaay too many storytimes, and that people were just posting "ehh" comics which weren't worthy of the Pain designation in order to inflate the count. The next year or the year after it, the opposite seemed to occur; there were barely any SoPs outside of the classic staples, and even some of those were missing. I think there was even a year without the Millar Triple Pack or a Girls storytime recently
>>154749637It's not even that bad by TMNT parody standards. Sure, it's a shaggy dog story and Dredd acts quite a bit dumber than usual but a lot of those TMNT parodies took themselves way too seriously.
