>>154764084So Rick Veitch made a comic for 9/11 truthers?that's kinda odd
>>154764084This comic was where I first learned most of this stuffSay what you will, Rick is based
>>154764467>Based? Based on what?>I don't know, but it's not a true story!>DOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO
>>154764343The only thing wrong with this comic is it fails to mention Urban Moving Systems, Gelatin and E-Team. Which is probably why it was allowed to be published.
>>154764084Kino
OP, what exactly is so bad about this comic? I don't see anything "painful" about it. Maybe I'm biased toward Veitch, though, because I love his Swamp Thing work as both a penciller and a writer, and he wrote one of my favorite post-Moore runs, idk. But this comic you storytimed isn't that bad. The coloring and inking are kinda meh and don't suit Veitch's style, other than that, it's an okay comic.
A time travel story about preventing a major tragedy? Not uncommon thought, but the execution is underwhelming.
So was it a inside job?
>>154766306I kinda get it. Even though I agree with most of its conclusions, it is still basically just>here's why 9/11 was an inside jobpresented in comic form. Which is not particularly entertaining. It's just kind of explaining a conspiracy theory. That said, I think "Jeffrey Epstein & Pals: The Comic" might be overdue.
>>154766684no, it wasn't

>>154766797>Which is not particularly entertaining. That's not the benchmark for a Storytime of Pain. If it was, people would just re-post DCKO and Death Spiral.

>>154764328>>154764336>>154764343This comic wants me to believe that:A. A giant passenger airplane filled with fuel hitting a building at full speed is like a car hitting a convenience store when someone accidentally hits the gas instead of the break And B. Somehow someone put bombs in the walls when no one was looking.
>>154767172>he thinks a jet fuel fire can liquefy steel beams>he doesn't know about E-TEAMMidwit post.
>>154767172>And B. Somehow someone put bombs in the walls when no one was lookingthere were entire floors cleared out for 'renovation' or some such nonsenseThe comic putting the bombs right in a meeting room with people for the sake of the visual doesn't mean that's where they actually were.>A giant passenger airplane filled with fuel hitting a building at full speed is like a car hitting a convenience store when someone accidentally hits the gas instead of the breakThe car would do more damage than the plane would relatively. You vastly overestimate how much damage an aluminum plane would do and underestimate how tough a steel superstructure is.>but fireDoes fuck all, even 2nd and 3rd world buildings that have been entirely stripped clean from a fire breaking out are still standing at the end, let alone collapsing at free fall.Even ignoring everything else about this you're still accepting 2 planes collapsing 3 buildings if you believe the official story
Okay, maybe Israel vaguely knew something bad was coming, and the Saudis probably funded it. But all this steel beams holographic bomb cope is mega gay. Did you all fail science class? What do you think the kinetic energy of 200,000 pounds ramming something at 410 mph is? Christ alive
>>154768071THE TRUTH WILL HEAL THE BURGERS
It's dramatic to see how I can lie to myself about something because the reality is grotesque. I understand that. The self denial because the lie is comfortable.
>>154768071And the burning fuel. Fuel that is so powerful that it keeps the 200000 pound metal vehicle soaring at high speeds 10000 feet in the sky.
How large was the insurance payout for Larry Silverstein? How soon before September 11 2001 did her finalize the policy? Why did almost all jewish people even in surrounding buildings just happen to call out of work?
Was this done unironically or do they actually fucking believe this
>>154768071not enough to bust a structure specifically rated to tank that force without flinching
>>154769137In 1966The World Trade Center was designed to withstand a slow flying 707, not a 767 going 500 mphThe 747 wouldn't even launch until after the towers began construction, let alone the 767Even when modeling after the specs that existed at that time they speculated jet fuel would cause more damage than the impact
>>154764155So is this oddly specific time travel that can only go back onceWhat's stopping her from going back again now that she knows it works? If it is a onetime thing, what was her plan if she was successful, waiting out the next 10 years and hoping there weren't any more attacks? If it's a one time thing, why would she go back to September 6 in particular? Why not any date in 2001?Why would she win the Nobel Prize? You don't win the Nobel Prize for thwarting an attack, at best you'd win the Medal of FreedomI know it's a truther comic but at least try to be believable
>>154764084Isn't funny how there was a massive sale of airline stocks just before 911? And all info got destroyed with building 7? What are the odds!

>>154769355>Why would she win the Nobel Prize for practical time travel?
Good old classic. I am actually surprised this video can be found again.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yuC_4mGTs98
This doesn't really count as a Storytime of Pain since the premise is simply politically incorrect rather than how it's written.
>>154769731This is a classic SoP story it's been done multiple years
>>154764196>time traveler says the building I'm in is about to be destroyed in an unprecedented terrorist attackboring>bigger sleeker version of a device that everyone in that room would have been familiar with (and probably owned) in 2001holy fuck I'm cumming
>>154769731>simply politically incorrectPolitically incorrect implies this is merely an idea being presented in a distasteful or impolite manner. Rather than being stark raving mad presented in a straight forward and polite manner. It's not "un-PC" to be a 9/11 truther, it's fucking retarded.
>>154770507>>154770934I'm just saying there is a clear difference between this and something like Marville. This is clearly just a political comic for some kind of movement rather than a comic for comic's sake.
>>154769137>rated to withstand the force of a vehicle that wasnt built yet
>>154770971Sure, but pain is pain. Sometimes an idea is just too stupid to exist.
>>154766306Are you kidding? The whole thing is so bad it's a parody. The writing and story especially.
>>154771031It's all true though

>>154771334(You) don't understand. It doesn't matter if you like what it says or not, that's not the point. As a comic, it's laughably bad.

>>154770934So, how did WTC 7 collapse?
>>154772157Purely economic factors
>>154772157>how did WTC 7 collapse?By being right next to a skyscraper that had a plane slam into it and then collapse raining down fiery debris leading to a massive uncontrolled fire in the building that over time started with small parts of the internal structure collapsing triggering building up and triggering a cascading failure
>>154772779Strange how it went free fall into its own foot print from some falling steel
>womansplaining to a bunch of rude, overconfident, egotistical MEN (ugh!)She really was ahead of her time.
>>154773050How is that remotely strange
>>154767304>he thinks a jet fuel fire can liquefy steel beams>liquefyThe Mythbusters proved it could weaken the structural steel used in the WTC more than enough to cause failure. >inb4 there's video of molten steel flowing from the buildingThermite melts metal locally, it won't melt the entire beam or enough to cause it to flow throughout a structure, even if you placed it on every beam you wouldn't get a flowing waterfall like is assumed from grainy footage. It was something else, what? Idk, But not knowing doesn't give you or anyone else the right to assume facts.
