What are /co/'s thoughts on Adventures of the Gummi Bears? Worth a watch?

It was my first meeting with high fantasy as a concept, which led to a life of dungeons and dragons playing, sword and sorcery loving autism. It remains a fond memory of something that meant a lot to me as a kid. Villain ws 10/10, I was constantly hoping he'd get some kind of victory every episode. So when you have the gauls with their magic potion going apeshit on the romans the gummiebears going boinb boing boing with theirs just isnt as cool. How did this show end anyhow? I remember something about sacrificing their one chance to contact the gummiebear elves over the ocean to save their friends or some shit but thats it.
