I know it's gonna be like probably another 5 years at least before we reach the end but I like how things are moving along lately
>>154796243>Nega Trace's armI thought it was like rot or decay, is Trace turning into a dragon?
>>154796275He probably tried to steal dragon magic to solve his problems.
>>154796275It makes me wonder now since new Trace's corrupted hand has claws instead of human finger nails...
>>154796243Damn are they still in the mansion? I stopped reading when they got there like 20 years ago
>>154797163Yes, though they are about to leave for Lyn'Knol
>>154797163Pacing has been glacial.
Why did he start drawing Flora less visibly pregnant?
>>154798900Did he?
>>154796275That's old news, Anon. Re-read a comic.
>>154799009>Re-read a comic.Which one?
>>154799011https://twokinds.keenspot.com/comic/240/There are also strips of his hand without the glove, but you can find it yourself.
>>154796275>>154796243Calling it now. Trace evil half wants to call a truce. He won’t harm flora or their baby if he takes over.
>>154799105Nah. I think Trace Legacy wants Amnesiac Trace take care of a few loose ends from his past life. Letting the problem linger would be detrimental to both of them.
>>154799140Man, they JUST introduced a bunch of new magic bullshit affecting the different characters as fallout from the last arc. You can't keep introducing new plotlines when at your snails pace release schedule you're going to die of old age before you finish your original ones. Dude needs to draw less fucking patreon art and more fucking comic.
>>154799625Unfortunately the patreon is the money maker, the comic feels like a side project now.
>>154798900Something about how tiger mothers irl don’t really show until right about they are about to give birth, Tom thought that was an interesting detail to adapt at one point
>>154799140Probably that... and maybe Old Trace wants New Trace to take care of some things as a way to start honoring what Saria really wanted>>154799625NTA but very true but also I'll keep reading TwoKinds until I'm in a retirement home if I have to
Something I appreciate getting into TwoKinds recently is having read beginning to end, you can see his art and writing improve in real time. It's genuinely kinda stunning, and the early comic gives me such nostalgia for the days when we could be 'cringey' and be fine with it.
>>154800961Right? Not too common to see this kind of evolution with the same project over the years either
>>154796275THE NEGA TRACE
>>154799028Amazing how far this comic has gone
Someone needs to kick Tom in the ass and get him to hurry up on the comic.
>>154802765Hmm, one page per month is a bit slow even for a webcomic.
>>154799140>>154799105Isn’t a racist character raising a mixed race child a believable popular trope?
>>154802976I mean it happens irl so yeah
>>154796275The ideal partner
>>154802797Given that he drops new patreon art basically every other day, he really has no excuse not to do a page a week. Just scale back the patreon art a bit, its worth the tradeoff.
>>154804145I have to wonder if it's a writers block thing.
>>154804659I imagine that its a combination of the original story that Tom had in mind from the start no longer holding up in his own head, and the story being at a turning point where things *have* to advance. This was a self-contained arc that didn't have to promise or set up anything, but now he has to pick a direction, and once he picks it he's stuck with that choice. The cast has to split up again, and they can't all remain relevant from here on out. Hell, B-team is debatable if they were ever relevant to begin with. The moment they get back on a boat again and there's a significant timeskip, Flora's pregnancy has to advance again and there's only so long he can put off that coming to a head. Its hard to say whats being set up now thats actually important, whats busywork, and whats fanservice. Like, female-Mike is 100% coming back now because that genderswap continues to be popular with his patreon but was previously a one-off event in the story. So that coming back around again is clearly just to appeal to that crowd and while it might also count as some busywork filler I doubt very much that it was planned from the start or it will be main story important. But the other magical accidents, like the shared dreams or the astral projection? Those could end up being totally nothing or a key element in some future plot.
>>154804879>and the story being at a turning point where things *have* to advanceWell the decision is coming... the cast is about to leave the mansion>The moment they get back on a boat again and there's a significant timeskipNot too significant, probably by a month or two since that's the amount of time Nora gauged the baby's arrival some pages ago (picrel)
