They are evil, but they are also cowards and cheats, leeching off Zimmy, who is herself a coward as well, having Coyote take her guilt away. The only evil character in this comic who doesn't also have major flaws seems to be Coyote, but perhaps that's because Coyote can theoretically be redeemed, as we saw with Loup? Coyote is traditionally a tragic character, after all, his own worst enemy.
