>>154849177I'm so sorry, anon, I though that it would be clear that was a joke. AutoCAD is what you use for, like, engineering and architectural design and shit. Its not just a 3d modeling program like blender, its entirely the wrong tool for the job and that was the joke. I don't know what program Cope uses for Unsounded specifically, but the fact of the matter is that these days all of the decent art programs are basically the same. There is nothing you can do in expensive programs like Photoshop that you cannot do in open source and free programs like Krita anymore. If you are looking for an art program to use, start with Krita and that will give you all of the key shit you need for digital art like a wide variety of brushes and layer management and the like, and because its open source you can always find and download additional brushes/tools and add them to the program to use. And its free, so thats important. There ARE artists that use 3d posing models and then draw over them for comics, but I very much doubt that is what Cope does with unsounded, because such comics usually feel very stilted and basic and Cope's page layout is much too fluid for that.
