The post-cancellation writers are also the oldest ones still currently working on FG. Nearly all the S1-3 writers started working on other things. Scrubs comprised of a few early FG writers IIRC.

I'm torn because it really does take off and get wild and fun after the reboot but seasons 1-3 are something special. I would like to see a return to that form
