I mean I liked it. I don't know about better than Spider-Man 2 but it was the best of the modern trilogy. It felt like he finally got to be Spider-Man not just the MCU's Spider-Man.

Agreed. It's structured like a messy 6/10 TV show, sinking to 4/10 as Zendaya enters, not a good movie in the slightest but you can kinda see Holland being less of a baby at times. Not Peter Parker though, the closest he's gotten at that was still at the end of NWH, but... I guess he's more of Insomniac Peter (derogatory) with some of his mannerisms still carrying over. The action is okay, which automatically places it above the other three, the swinging a vast improvement what little there was, but not enough to make it worth watching.

It should have been 45 minutes shorter, I had a lot of little kids in my theater and they weren't really engaged. It was pretty boring, had this compulsive need to keep explaining things that are happening on screen. And there's a ton of flashbacks and exposition dumps

I didn't like it walking out of the theater and as I marinate on it over the past few hours I don't like it even more
Getting into spiler territory now, but especially because there was no big villain fight at any point in the movie. There's nothing hidden, every fight they show you in the trailer happens in the movie
And the ending, is literally the same as the thunderbolts. I guess they realize nobody watched that movie so they decided to just reuse it
She's too unstoppable in the real world so Peter goes into the astral plane and defeats her with the power of friendship by giving her a hug
