I didn't avoid it because of the casting. I avoided it because her cameo in the Superman movie completely turned me off to this interpretation of the character they were going with. I know some people like that, but it's not my thing.

I was already never going to watch it after her debut at the end of Superman established what an insufferable drunk bitch she was to her cousin.

I hated Krypto in Superman and didn't want to see any more of him in the DCU.

It was adapting the work of a CIA plant who admitted he just copy/pasted True Grit but in a DC Comics space setting.

Everything else was just a maggot infested rotten cherry on top of that shit sundae.
