>>154854198Mostly good will from the Raimi movies and some of the hype carrying over from NWH. His trilogy is awful, if NWH accidentally gave him a good arc and state of mind they immediately discard in this. The first movie is most certainly not good at all, the other guy is unhinged.

I think Peter at this point feels pretty realized as a character and can comfortably able to interact with any MCU character without it overriding his own corner of the universe. Also, it seemed less like a Secret Wars prologue and more of an X-Men prologue.But I do agree that you can still feel the chains of a cinematic universe attached to the story.
