MILES COULD NEVER
>>

>Last two Peter-led movies cross 1bil
>"It's destiny to get to Miles tho"
I would ask what's wrong with Marvel, but I already know. They did create Paul, after all
>>
>>154854084
Last THREE Peter-led movies, you mean. FFH and NWH both crossed one billion. BND will almost certainly cross two billion.
>>
>>154854042
Is that beating GTA V’s record?
>>
Miles will get 5B. Easily. He's got the aura, the swag, and black magic.

i've never watched the MCU spiderman movies. does anyone who has watched them know why they're doing so well? are they just that good?
>>
>>154854198
For all its flaws no way home built a lot of goodwill and at this point people trust Sony more than Marvel when it comes to the guy.
That and Spider-Man is popular.
>>
>>154854198
It's Marvel's undisputed flagship character starring in their official cinematic universe where audiences can see him interact with the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and the X-Men, just like in all the comics and cartoons everybody watched growing up.
>>
Would've been pretty sick if there were some spider-man characters in this highly anticipated spider-man movie
>>
>>154854198
only the first movie was any good. the rest are schlock, so much so they brought bag 2 older spiderman actors for a heckin' reference movie. its just that spiderman is that popular and women think tom holland is cute
>>
>>154854042
Sickening to see capeshit continue.
>>
>>154854411
You watch children's cartoons. Kindly shut the fuck up.

>Spider-Man is popular.
Just this
>>
>>154854198
SPIDER-MAN
ITS SPIDER-MAN
YOU FUCKING FAGGOT! ALL OF YOU! ITS NOT SPIDERMAN. ITS SPIDER HYPHEN MAN!
>>
>>154854151
But is it exaggerated?
>>
>>154854601
I do not do that at all

I like how they portray the villains, shame the rest isn't that good
>>
>>154854198
Mostly good will from the Raimi movies and some of the hype carrying over from NWH. His trilogy is awful, if NWH accidentally gave him a good arc and state of mind they immediately discard in this. The first movie is most certainly not good at all, the other guy is unhinged.
>>
>>154854632
That's just to make it legally distinct enough so they wouldn't get sued by a costume company with a product called spiderman
When they first created him there was no - but they couldn't trademark him without it
>>
>>154854198
First one is fine, but lacks the spectacle of the Tobey or even the Garfield movies.Second one had better action but lacks everything else. Third one was probably most balanced all things considered, they made him grow as a character in a fan service mess and the final fight was cool. Haven't watched the newest installment.
>>
>>154854820
Newest had some of the best character work from Holland I've seen, and made me care a decent bit more about the Peter/MJ/Ned trio. Villain just didn't really do it, but that's because it was still doing MCU legwork.
>>
>>154854981
I'm pissed off this movie was a just a back door prologue for secret wars. They refuse to let this character stand on his own legs

It's right there on the cover.
>>
>>154855048
I agree and disagree. I think Peter at this point feels pretty realized as a character and can comfortably able to interact with any MCU character without it overriding his own corner of the universe. Also, it seemed less like a Secret Wars prologue and more of an X-Men prologue.
But I do agree that you can still feel the chains of a cinematic universe attached to the story.

It's just the whole movie the actual spiderman villains were basically used as throwaway gags, By the way I'm furious scorpion didn't have a helmet

The main antagonist was an x man, and the main fights are the Hulk and a bunch of Daredevil enemies
While he tries to rekindle his relationship with OC Michelle

There are no Osbornes across 4 movies now so unless they turn ned I don't know what they're doing here. You can't have a spiderman franchise without a goblin, its necessary
They just didn't set anything up either. His world is just as narrow as when it began
>>
>>154854632
Why do the Spider-Verse movies make so little then

To get normies hyped for another Avengers film, they had to bring RDJ and Chris Evans back. Capeshit movies are finished, dead and buried but Spidey is operating on another level entirely. He’s simply better than the rest.
