The thing about Thor is he’s not actually a hero, he’s an NPC on a script, for all we know, Thor probably isn’t a good person or a hero off it. Loki was “born evil” and destined to be a villain in script, hence why his main timeline counterpart was nothing but a poorly written one note villain with zero character beyond being a bastard, which is why I’m happy he died to Thanos, but Loki is genuinely a good, friendly, and gentle person off script, making him, unlike Thor a REAL hero by his own choice. It also differs him from his shitty mythological counterpart, tricksters are just evil, they’re not interesting. They’re the worst part of mythology.Loki is more of a hero than Thor, he’s also a better person than Thor. Really there’s zero reason to like Thor because he’s a non-character, it’s also why every single one of his movies should be ignored.
