>Runtime 76 minutesIt drives me up the wall that all these DC animated movies are almost always 1 hour and 10 minutes because that qualifies as "feature length" I know animation can be expensive, but when the average TV shows runs for over an hour now, I really don't think 70 minutes qualifies as feature length anymore.I also don't know if it's better or worse that they keep making multi-parters now, yeah sure, you get more runtime for the story, but they insist on splitting them up and most of the time they never do a physical release which combines both parts together, so if you're trying to watch the whole thing, you have to switch discs. It's annoying as fuck.Is it because the writing is usually better in the animated stuff than the life-action movies and they don't want the 250 million dollar films constantly getting shown up?
It's because animation is expensive and they'll either have to cut corners or take a bigger financial risk if they want to go longer and companies hate risk.

>>154861175You know what I like about phantasm? They had the balls to add their own antagonist that worked for the story. So many Batman films are too afraid to add something new, just remixing the same concepts
>>154864701>>154864784Kys, Shark Tale is way better and more relevant nowadays.
