These guys always felt like an awkward fit in the new Ultimate Universe
>far future group of cosmic superheroes who are basically the LoSH with DC One Million bullshit superpowers that are literally incomprehensible to the present day protagonists
>members include a guy with the Ultimate Nullifier, a crippled Beyonder, the Phoenix Force, whatever their Star-Lord has going on, "Ultron-82" and a guy with the Infinity Gauntlet
>all to eat shit the second a stretchy guy with a time machine shows up
I'm inclined to believe it was all so that Camp could do his The Nearness of You ripoff with America Chavez

This is leaving aside how the FUCK the Maker is supposed to have convinced the Celestials to work with him to replace all the life in the universe with his OCs
