Why does wielding the power of Thor also entails larping?
Thor acts in an archaic manner because he has grown up like this.
Whay is everyone elses excuse?
>>

I like how it's larping from a hood perspective too since the sneakers hanging from the wires are used to honor someone who git shot and killed

This caused some controversy when this comci came out lol
>>
I feel physical, tangible cringe whenever I see this
In a way, it's immpressive

Why do people have this concept that only a white guy can be racist anyway?

US people being sorry for slavery and equating everything bad with theit system to “white” people and thus europeans. It is silly because they have their own culture they can be proud of or blame. They just were so successfull with smacking the natives around, having slavery and imprinting their culture onto both groups that people get to pretend that black people or natives were angels because they have no frame of reference. So white americans feel sorry for minorities, for somewhat good reasons and try to help by subscribing to the belief that minorities are better people somehow. This gets abused and deep societal problems are hard to change either way so any progress is slow.
Doesn’t help people in the US also lack a general knowledge of europe and how things are here. We have been killing each other for thousands of years, different shades of “white” and allied and fought against peoples as well or allied with them like the french did with the ottomans. The absolute dominance of western countries has been very short with a view on general history and is waning. But if you believe history started 400 years ago because your country was founded then, it is easy see this as “forever”. Not that people here are any better, but we have more recent examples of killing the shit out of each other in our own backyard so that helps putting things into perspective.
TLDR: People in the Us mean well, but generally lack a frame of reference for the rest of the world because their cultural dominance and incoming information gets filtered through mostly their own english language media. I mean they even remake british series like The Office.
>I am drunk and this is silly and telling people of once or even now opressed minorities that they are totaly right no matter what is a way of buying indulgences, of feeling less guilty and this view spreads. This spreads to other “guilty” groups or those who profit from this.

Urban legends. 99% of the time it's just badass little kids doing it for fun.

it started as a signal for drugs and then kids saw it and now it's just a thing

same thing happened with baggie pants. Kids watched people coming out of prison with pants hanging low and copies it, not knowing it means your "available" in prison

In most conversations I have about slavery, everyone's able to admit that blacks also owned (and in many countries currently own) slaves, but then they ignore the basic implications of how that fact radically changes their worldview. They acknowledge that most or all regions had slave-owning nations even before colonialism, but they ignore the implications how it was actually the European colonists that ended slavery almost everywhere they went.

They also say the American Civil War was about slavery. I bring up how but the Union and Confederacy owned slaves and the Confederate territories freed their slaves first. They usually admit that, but then somehow reassert that the war was about slavery. Why the fuck would two sides start a war about something they don't support? Of course there were some Union states that banned slavery, but some of them didn't, and the whole point of state rights is that they wanted each state to choose what they wanted to do. The federal government was completely fine with the Confederate states owning slaves. There's a quote from la letter by Lincoln of him explicitly stating he's indifferent to slavery continuing so long as it prevents a succession.
>>
One common counter-argument is that the Confederate constitution enabled slavery. 1. That's not evidence that was the cause of the war given that it's just saying they enabled something the Union also enabled, not a counterargument to my main point. 2. Right underneath that line, the constitution says that it only requires 3 states in a vote to change the constitution so it's very likely they would've changed that law and abolished slavery anyway. I'm asked what makes me think the Confederacy would've abolished slavery. Uhm... maybe the fact that they fucking did in real life before all the Union territories did. The last state to abolish slavery was Delaware. I remember reading an article that said slavery in Alabama was only fully banned in the 1990s. Goes to show how far these people are willing to lie to perpetuate their narrative.

It is actually even odder when you try to narrow it down to whatever concept was trying to be arrived at.
Like the onus is "What if Yggdrasil sprouted in Brooklyn", so the worldbuilding disintegrates when you try to arrive at this Afro-Americana concept.
It gets more forced when even the other realms are implied to be the exact same.
