Was the impetus for this show really "What if we took Batman's cast but took away everything that made them interesting?"
If so what the fuck were they thinking? Why would you actively try to make all of Gotham so dull? At least the animation looks like shit so we don't have to worry about this being a waste of money

It is just a show with no love or passion in the characters.
Timm, Abrams, Reeves, etc, just work on the show for clout and not because they like the character. You can especially tell Bruce Timm is Batman fatigued.
