And even before Batman Beyond was thought of the episode from Batman TAS with Lock-Up showed the real issues Gotham City has and Batman refused to ever deal with them throughout his entire career as a caped hero. Batman is shit.Part of growing up is seeing that Batman is an enabler of corruption and crime long term. As such Batman is trash. Terry has a higher success rate because he acts more humane, he's not going to forgive serial killers and if a criminal gets themselves killed oh well that's on them. Bruce is an idiot pile of shit and the fact that his crusade drags kids into fighting criminals with Tim Drake being the most famous victim from this continuity should lead to other characters hating Bruce.Unless Warner decides to CONSISTENTLY make Bruce act more like in his early era where he kills criminals who deserve it, Batman will always have this image problem.
