>Rightfully replaces the amateur indie team of animators and VAs with a real, more polished and professional one
>REEE YOU CAN'T DO THAT!
Why was this an issue again?
>>
I think it’s hilarious that the original VAs all got dumped because they weren’t in SAG. Bet they’re still pro-union too lmao

People don't want to face the truth that the studio system is, was, and always will be superior to some rinkydink indie team. Im working indie right now with some "writers" and holy shit are they terrible. Unironically some of the unfunniest motherfuckers I've met. I'm writing it all myself now
This shit doesn't make a real show

Lmao, really?

Congratulations, you bought Viv's lie. Bosco was already in the union and Michael was eligible to join but confessed that he was dropped because of Viv's personal choice. She ditched them for Broadway, it's not pretty to admit but it's true.

What's funny is that the indie writing team produced a far better pilot than the atrocious final show.
>>
>>154883618
The pilot wasn’t good you just liked all the headcanon shit that followed its initial release
>>

That's right anon, that's what it is, that's why the official show sucked for me. Not the atrocious worldbuilding, crappy dialogue, shitty characterization, plot holes galore that's the issue. It's just muh headcanon, amirite?
>>
>>154883811
...Unless you can point to a case of the "atrocious worldbuilding" actively conflicting with the pilot, that actually is valid. Because the foundational premise is already a slap-in-the-face to "source material" accuracy, and is quite sparse on the "meat" needed for any confidence.

It's like the "wasted potential" of RWBY. Goddamn nobody on that staff, Monty included, had any serious worldbuilding or long-term plot-writing chops. But when it first came out, the abundant blank space let the audience project their own assumptions and build up a far more satisfying "big picture" than the final result ever could.
