Most Newgrounds animators are edgelords. That often means at least one of the following 1. Their edgy past will catch up with them and fuck up their chances at employment 2. They will have arrested development and will stay an edgy teenager well into adulthood, meaning they will not undergo the personal growth necessary to be successful 3. They had a fucked up upbringing which will affect them in another ways (drugs, alcohol, mental illness)Combine that with the fact that animation in general is very hard to do and as such, is not easy to make money out of, and you have the perfect environment for washing out
It seems like so many edgy generation xers turned into boring leftists in middle age. It's fucking depressing for some who's been following them since the 2000s.
