I'll take your word for it but it's weird that the cosy vibes generation doesn't have a disproportionate amount of effort in giving the brown lesbian MC a cool bedroom to have panic attacks and therapy talks in

I thought the Mystery Shack was a cool home/workplace combo. That's something a bit unique for a cartoon. When driving around you might see convenience stores/gas stations where someone is clearly living upstairs, or in a motel the runner of the place might live behind the office. I just think that's neat. I also liked the park house in Regular Show.

having to use the bed to climb out the window is kinda gross
think about it, that's going to be the primary egress for maintenance

The last comfy home in a cartoon was the treehouse

These are fake comfy, the creators were trying to forcefully replicate the idea without understanding what makes them work, best visible through the fact the characters never offhandedly treat them like they're comfy

What the hell was the inspiration for that palace? Domes wider than their base is some late Iranian stuff - Arabs didn't build like this.

Gravity Falls definitely had the kids lounging around, sitting on the checkout counter in the gift shop, etc.
