>>154887643I don't follow the MCU so I have no investment or context for this, but it really does seem like a super-powerful psychic with a precocious crush on a much older and more experienced superhero(ine) is the sort of thing that might actually happen in real life, though I don't think it would be written these days because of the obvious implications.I get the feeling if they wrote something like this in a mainline comic it would be a helpful boy who's mentored by a male superhero and one of the experienced hero's female peers is subject to the boy's infatuation. Don't think they would write a male "yandere" unless they were really trying to make a point about sexual assault, and I think if they wrote a younger female she would definitely be in more of a "18 loves 24" dynamic, which if I gather is the actual idea going on here.
