>WE DON'T NEED TO SEE UNCLE BEN. WE ALL KNOW SPIDEY'S ORIGIN STORY!
>every Spiderman adaption that starts with Uncle Ben already dead and everyone alluding vaguely to "your uncle" just makes Peter look like a spoilt kid who gets superpowers and an internship at the biggest tech lab in New York and his biggest trial is Stacy just sees him as a friend or the wrong Stacy is dating him when he really wants the other Stacy or he has too many Stacies
Spiderman is a smarmy little prick on paper and he needs a good tragedy on screen for us to actually like him.

Why do you think they killed Tom Holland Peter's aunt?

Spectacular Spider-Man did it best in my opinion. The show opens with Peter as Spider-Man already deep in his crime fighting career and mostly skips.over his origin story choosing to drop bits and pieces of it over the first season untill the venom episodes. But Uncle Ben's presence, or rather it's absence looms large over Peter's life and drives the story forward. They show aunt may struggling with bills because of Un le Ben's sudden death which drives Peterto look for work to help which eventually leads him to JJJ. And this all happens in the first episode

It's simple. You don't have to show Uncle Ben dying to show how important he is to Peter and how integral his part in Spider-Man's origin is.

Completely cutting his character out is just lazy.
