I really don't know what there is to say about the Young Avengers. They came together to help Iron Lad fight Kang the Conqueror but convinced him to go back to his time when the timeline began breaking down after they killed Kang. Patriot was revealed to be using MGH as he had no powers but then received some after getting a blood transfusion from his father, Isaiah Bradley, after being seriously injured. Hulkling also learned that he was the son of the Kree hero Mar-Vell and the Skrull princess Anelle while the Young Avengers set out to search for the Scarlet Witch who may be Wiccan and Speed's true mother. From there, the Young Avengers bounced around in a holding pattern until creator Allan Heinberg could return... which wouldn't be for years. But he came back and thus what was originally intended to be the next major Young Avengers story all the way back during the time of the first volume of Young Avengers is eventually told in a separate series.Today is Avengers: The Children's Crusade #1-4.Previous >>154879922

That's it for today, next time will be Avengers: The Children's Crusade #5-9.Maybe I should have just split this up into three issues per day but eh, I don't think this is a good series and feel it's better to just get through it. It's also hard to place anywhere in continuity because it was a story intended during the post-House of M era that didn't get written until the Heroic Age and because of further delays wasn't finished until around the start of AvX in 2012. It feels like the last gasp of that "We'll let TV writers take as long as they want because they're big names" thing that Marvel was fond of in the 2000s that gave us shit like Ultimate Hulk vs. Wolverine.
