Everything said about the characters in this article is true, with one small exception: in the article, many of the characters are listed as RECURRING, but in reality, that's only the case at the beginning of the story. The Gaang will never be surpassed as the Avatar team because every member in his group served a function in the story. Sokka was pretty much the leader and Inventor of the team while the rest were Aang's teachers. Reading this it feels like this team will do the same mistake as Korra as it will be overcrowded with innecesary characters that will provide nothing and are only there because "Aang had a team and it worked! So let's catch the lightning in the bottle once more time!".
