>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

If the thread dies suddenly or you still want to discuss something when there's no thread:

I came up with this concept in the Drawpile. I tentatively call it Mean Marley. Dunno how it happened, but somehow Lovely Ladybug got a symbiote version or an evil double or something. The design is based on a steelblue ladybug.

Epic design mate

How about… an alt costume like how Robin went by Red X? Someone mentioned Moth Macabre earlier, could implement a story like that
>>
>>154969043
So you have an entire comic for her?
That's pretty cool with the octo pal, I like that.
>superheroine and salvage diver whose hydrokinesis
What exactly does the hydrokinesis do? Is that her only power?
I assume she can't breathe water cause helmet.

>So you have an entire comic for her?
Just a little two pager, and some gag strips here and there.
>What exactly does the hydrokinesis do? Is that her only power?
Moves water, mostly. On land she can waterbend, in the water she uses it to move quickly-
>I assume she can't breathe water cause helmet.
-or filter oxygen out of the water to replenish her supply (the helmet is useful for saving some for later, or as a bucket to carry Bloop in)

Sounds cool, but I’m not sure if that’s something the character would do. Despite being /coc/‘s favourite character I’m not all that familiar with her story or cast, but I’d love to come up with a more cohesive background for the design with the help of some of you Marley Maniacs TM.

Patient 0 & Kinde Amazing Digital Circus Parody : The Death Defying Digital Footprint aka "Marketable Characters in search of an exit". MainFriend: a Charlie Chaplin Tramp/Groucho Marx esque host of the MMO "JOICHEST",is he a delusional ai or a mentally ill programmer?
Plushiacci : a Sad Little Clown Doll Flapper Girl who shares Pillard's Dream To leave. Sarge : the insane Army Man Enforcer, sounds like a demented R. Lee Ermey on meth. Rambles about his missing Wife "Private Sexy" alot.
Tetricia: Bipolar Duolo Rubix cube who writes crummy crybaby poetry.

New Hill-Billie Greens

>Grace’s mouth opened, already forming a polite but firm rejection. Before the words could even reach her lips, Aunt Ellie’s hand shot out with startling speed, clamping firmly onto Grace’s elbow.
>"Now, you just hold that thought for a hot second, sugar," Aunt Ellie murmured, smoothly steering Grace a few steps away from the bouncing, oblivious farm girl.
>Aunt Ellie dropped her voice, her sweet Southern drawl taking on a distinctly passive-aggressive edge. "That girl marched her muddy boots all the way over here just to invite you, Grace. You'd do well to appreciate the offer. Lord knows you need to change up your routine a little. A growin' girl can't spend her whole summer cooped up in a guest room just starin' at a phone with no signal."
>Grace felt a hot, prickling flush of embarrassment creep up her neck. She looked down at her spotless shoes, suddenly feeling terribly ungrateful.
>Aunt Ellie softened her grip, giving Grace's arm a gentle, reassuring pat. "You go on and have fun," she whispered. "Once you survive the night and come on back, I promise I'll make it up to you." Aunt Ellie punctuated the promise with a conspiratorial wink.
>Defeated, but slightly curious about the promised bribe, Grace sighed. She turned back to Billie and forced a smile. "Alright, Billie. I'll come."
>Hours later, the sun was dipping below the heavy Cowpie County treeline as Grace stood with Billie in front of the Mulberry family's farmhouse. It was a rustic, weathered building, surrounded by rusted tractor parts and wandering poultry.
>The encroaching darkness made the surrounding woods look particularly menacing.
>Grace glanced nervously at the shadows stretching across the yard. "So," she asked, keeping her voice low and analytical. "Have you... witnessed anything supernatural lately? Any more goblins? Weird footprints? Union reps in the woods?"

>Billie blinked, looking genuinely surprised by the question. "Shoot, Grace, I ain't even thought to check! My mind's been so laser-focused on gettin' this sleepover ready, I plum forgot to look for any booger-monsters today!"
>Before Grace could properly panic about the farm's lack of perimeter security, the heavy wooden front door creaked open. There stood Ma Mulberry.
>Grace stared. It was like looking at a glimpse of Billie from twenty years in the future.
>Ma had the exact same wild, unmanageable hair, the same constellation of freckles dusted heavily across her nose and cheeks, and the same vibrant, earthy energy radiating from her posture.
>Ma’s face split into a massive, warm smile the absolute second her eyes landed on Grace.
>"Well, I'll be dipped in butter and rolled in cracker crumbs!" Ma hollered, throwing the door wide open. "Welcome to the homestead, Grace! Get on in here, child! Lord have mercy, our Billie’s been talkin' 'bout you non-stop from sunup to sundown. My ears are near 'bout chewed clean off!"
>Grace offered a stiff, polite wave. "Hi, Mrs. Mulberry. Thank you for having me over—"
>"And don't you worry none 'bout your Aunt Ellie," Ma barreled on, not missing a beat. "She’s a mighty fine woman and a downright neighborly neighbor, I tell you what. Now, me and Pa, we don't rightly understand her spendin' all her days locked up collectin' them dusty old maps when there's chores to be done, but she's good folks!"
>Ma wiped her hands on her apron and kept right on yapping, transitioning seamlessly into farm logistics in a thick, rapid-fire redneck accent dripping with local slang.
>"I just finished slop-feedin' the hogs and the taters are boilin' over, 'cause Pa's tractor blew a gasket down by the lower forty and we had to rig it with bailing wire and spit just to drag it back to the barn before the skeeters carried us off—"
>>
>>154992814
>Grace stared blankly as the barrage of heavy rural vocabulary and farming anecdotes washed over her.
>She took a deep breath, the thick scent of boiled potatoes and livestock filling her nose, and soon realized it was going to be an exceptionally long night.
>"Come on!" Billie cheered. Reaching out, Billie enthusiastically grabbed Grace's impeccably clean hand with her own stubbornly muddy one, yanking the city girl forward into the farmhouse.

Will continue later

I've added it because colette, as far as I know, doesn't seem to have a seperate civilian/superhero name. Or maybe she doesn't care too much about it because she's black in one form and ginger/white in the other, so no one's gonna dare make the connection.

Also Newman throwing racist comments at her when she's black Colette vs Newman not having a problem with her when she's white is an interesting story to portray.

All the powers of a flying brick (plus firing energy beams instead of heat vision) and he'll totally save the day... as long as someone pays him a fair rate for doing so. Not a villain (since being a superpowered criminal is "for chumps") but his personality and methods tend to put alot of people off, especially more traditional heroes.

Was inspired to make him from memories of a guy in the Lois & Clark show who got a copy of Superman's powers then tried to charge people for saving them.

Scarabs are a start.
Also if you guys reimagined Goliath, I would like for him to be a delusional older brother
