Putting aside the memes for a minute, let's not forget that Stella is extremely classist and the whole affair was made worse on account of Stolas screwing an imp which is the lowest of the low. Stella would likely NOT approve of Octavia throwing her position and inheritance away to date a human which I suspect are even lower than imps but either way are definitely far below a goetia. Stolas ironically would be much more likely to accept the union because he knows a thing or two about telling the Goetia to go fuck themselves in pursuit of an unconventional romance outside his station.
