What (if anything) can Seven Havens do to redeem Korra's character and/or repair the damage LOK did to the setting and brand without completely retconning Legend Of Korra out of continuity, or completely assassinating Korra's character (y'know, moreso than it already has if the leaks are true)?
>>155008332Have korra be one of those people that gives kids unsolicited dating advice thats really inappropriate. Like the new girl accesses the avatar state and korra just talks about having a burner phone for backup sex friends.
>>155008392Okay. Now for somebody who isn't a complete retard.
>>155008332>do to redeem Korra's characterNot a lot because most of peoples problem with her character were choices that seemed stupid at the time so making them retroactively good would be obvious and transparent, or born of shitty writing that made entire seasons one big plot hole that should have been solved at the start of the season like Season 2 hinging on Korra’s Avatar State suddenly not working in the one single solitary way it’s been described and repeatedly shown, that is giving past knowledge. The same series that had Roku give Aang a full on infodump complete with images and all his past lives on display suddenly had Korra not know why opening the spirit gates is a bad idea when she’s doing it? That’s not Korra being a bad character that’s the writing being so shit it has to contrive a reason for the worst season to happen. You can’t fix that saying “no yeah Korra opening the spirit gates totally saved the world and you were all wrong to call her dumb as fuck for doing that.”
>>155008488>i want answers but won't contribute to the brainstorming>there are bad answers in brainstormingI bet your lazy ass doesn't even own a white board.
>>155008392>that airbender you’re traveling with looks pretty hot. You should date him first>What do you mean first?Might be cool
>>155008332All the damage is in your head.
>>155008700Fine. You want my theory?Obviously they're going to reveal at some point that korra either wasn't responsible/was framed for the disaster that destroyed the modern world of the LOK setting. Basically they're hoping that Korra being framed for something worse than all her mistakes in season 2-4 and then getting her off the hook for that, will make the mistakes she did make seem smaller by comparison.
>>155008332Literally just flash backs to her learning lessons and changing from learning those lessons. Maybe learning the apocalypse is coming because of Vaatu and sacrifice herself in an effort to protect what she can even if it ends in something very close to a cataclysm. Leaving just a bit of the world alive instead of total and complete destruction. Korra mind/spirit melds with Pavi to give her a memory of the events. Pavi, leading this uses the knowledge of what Vaatu did to save her sister and seal Vaatu away like before the harmonic convergence. Pavi is praised as a hero and Korra is redeemed in the eyes of the people.
