As an aside, I really wish we had seen a girl fight between Elsa and Larxene in KH3. There's no reason that Gerda and Kai couldn't be the real Gerda and Kai from Andersen's story. They could even show up to give Anna and Elsa a lore dump about the real snow queen. In that story the snow queen does seem to want connection with someone (or to dominate them) and she is unrepentant and alive at the end.
