Even if the original trailer hadn't been a shit, the thing would not have made waves, OP.In fact, it only made some money *because* the original presentation was viral for being so stupid. If the trailers were all good the thing sould have made no dollah dollah at all.The art is ugly, the concept is bland and over done and offers nothing new, the designs look amateur, and the "that's so me! Relatable!" aspect just signals that it's been made by people with very little experience, because it's a show about people with very little experience. I've been the owner of a house for over 8 years because I didn't want to pay rent, so I worked super hard and bought a fuckin house. Not everyone will do this, but everyone with a brain knows that it can be done by people who aren't lazy or retarded, so the premise itself indicates that the characters are lazy and retarded. The "landlord is a bad guy" thing is also moronic. The chimp is providing a service, and it should be paid for it by the people using that service.If you're gonna make a show about roomates, focus on the human and interpersonal aspects.
