Lillypad is a better antagonist than Gabbi Gabbi. Toy Story 5 is still kind of "meh" and forgettable though and really doesn't do much new. It's a story that really doesn't feel like it needs to be told.

No but it wasn't good either. The first half was a nonsensical running on of subplots that took way too long to get going. The second half was pretty decent but I can't call a movie with a bad first half and no clear direction a good film. Compared to the first 3 it's laughable. 4 was worse but 5 still was not up to par. Pixar is just lacking in story department these days. Critics can say it's great but every one I've been to has been a let down. Hoppers was the same. The stories feel confused and cluttered. Even the cute Minions movie about making movies was a more "Pixar" movie than TS5 and that was fucking Illumination. If not only Sony and DreamWorks are kicking your ass, and now even ILLUMINATION is mogging you there is something deeply wrong going on there. It makes me not want to see any Pixar films going forward.
