An idea/take on "unabstract Jax in Season 2" I haven't seen before: They manage to unabstract Jax, but it's tenuous at best, and the threat of him re-abstracting hangs over the Circus. While it's likely they'll be able to re-unabstract him if he ever abstracts again, it still wouldn't be good considering how large and destructive abstractions are, and the whole thing is played like a Bruce Banner/the Hulk sort of scenario. Of course, there's the one episode, the finale probably, where Jax intentionally re-abstracts in order to achieve something good. Protecting Pomni from someone, running off someone threatening the Circus, something like that.

Ribbit forced Jax to tell her personal shit he was clearly not ready to share, and while Jax may have overreacted, Ribbit needed to come to terms with the fact that she alienated him and start hanging out more with the others instead of trying to, again, force him to kiss and make up. No, I don't think she was going to use her knowledge of his real life in any malicious manner like he thought she was going to, but clearly the damage was done and sharing that information hurt/scared him all the same. While I am in no way absolving Jax of the part he played in her abstraction, it was like roughly 75-80% her own fault. How many times does he have to tell her he doesn't want to hang out with her anymore before she eventually takes the fucking hint?Kaufmo was really unfortunate, though.
