The Gunn doesn't jam.
>The DC Studios series raked in 9.3 million global cross-platform viewers and 6.6 million in the U.S. in its first three days of availability on HBO and HBO Max, per Warner Bros. Discovery. With regard to streaming, it now ranks among the top five series premieres on HBO Max.
>The company confirms that the Lanterns premiere outperformed those of several tentpole series including IT: Welcome to Derry, The Penguin and True Detective: Night Country. Those went on to average 27.1M, 19.8M, and 17.5M global viewers, respectively, making a good case for the trajectory of Lanterns.
>The premiere episode of Lanterns has showed some longevity as well, remaining as the No. 1 title on HBO Max’s daily Top 10 list since Sunday.

The Penguin's what's considered a tentpole at HBO now?

Hal Jordan being killed off is confirm as something the majority desire.

We'll see. I'll wait and see what the viewer numbers are like for Season 2 after the bait and switch.

/co/ told me this was a giant flop. What happened?

I shan't be watching this niggardry. Nay, no matter the shill.

The same jeets that said supergirl would more than spider-man and Odssey would flop are spamming /co/ after being laughed off /tv/.

Do you see he filename of what you posted, white trash Nerdrotic fanboy?
>>
>>155118184
The Penguin was one of the biggest shows of 2024 and IIRC every single episode the show went up in ratings, which is extremely rare.
>>
>>155118480
Why would you listen to /co/ on anything when this place literally hates everything?

>>155120056
You really that stupid that you can’t tell the difference between reporting a prediction and releasing actual data on viewership after something debuts?

Apparently so to where he posted the website in the filename.

Too late to delete it >>155120056 its here forever. The Gunn is not jammed.

Funnily enough it's always tv and streaming shit that definitely succeeds when you can't check it. Flop after flop in the box office, but this shit's super successful, we promise!
>>
>>155118184
IT and True Detective were also mentioned yet somehow The Penguin was an outlier to you?

Unless it's Rebel Moon or that Dawn of the Dead remake "universe". Those probably got less than Superman 2025 on streaming despite being on a more accessible platform.

Maybe it's a hit, but streaming "data" is routinely junk info, especially when it comes directly from the studio trying to get people watching their show. There have been countless cases of shows being #1, promoted as a hit and then cancelled. Simu Lu starred in one of those last year.

You'll note this article promotes the show's longevity at #1. You know what its competition is for that title? A Big Bang Theory spinoff about the guy that owned the comic book shop, a Rick and Morty spinoff no one asked for, and MAWS. There are no other first-run scripted shows on HBO Max right now. Beating unwanted spinoffs, flops and reruns isn't an accomplishment.

I've seen a lot of memes and discussions about the show on twitter, so I imagine a lot of people have watched it. We'll see what happens when the Nielsen ratings come in, since Peacemaker and Penguin never made the charts despite being somewhat popular.

No, Tom King is staying. Chandler is leaving because his contract only stipulates only one season and no movies.
>>
>>155122875
No, King and Lindelof are leaving Christopher Cantwell is replacing them. Chandler has also talked about being in a potential season two. Nice LARP.

>The DC Studios series raked in 9.3 million global cross-platform viewers and 6.6 million in the U.S. in its first three days of availability on HBO and HBO Max, per Warner Bros. Discovery.
Despite all that it still made less than Disney+ shows Agatha and Acolyte.

>Star Wars: The Acolyte pulled in 4.8 million views on its first day and 11.1 million global views over its first five days on Disney+, marking the platform's biggest series debut of 2024.
>The premiere episode of Marvel's Agatha All Along drew 9.6 million views globally on Disney+ in its first seven days of streaming.

Ergo, this dick measuring regarding views is meaningless.
>>
>>155125221
It still doesn't make Superman the success WBD wishes it was.
>>
>>155120748
The IT show about race issues and the fourth season of True Detectives everybody hated, you mean.
>>
>>155125280

Anon. Have you read the fucking book?
>>
>>155121332
What kind of cope is that? House of the Dragon does <1 million viewers on linear and that's clearly their biggest series. Euphoria's last season averaged <500k on linear. The main platform for these shows is HBO Max.
>>
>>155125221
>NOOOOO those were fake views!
>Ah but the OP is totes legit, Gunn doesn't have to fake his viewership! Ignore how MAWS flopped and how Supergirl flopped and how Superman made less than MoS a whooping 10 years later!

>>155118153
>The Gunn doesn't jam.

How much did Supergirl gross again? Less than Blue Beetle and Shazam 2?
>>
>>155118190
I hope all the Lanterns die.
