I don't even understand what OP want.For example, Peacemaker is a completely new character under James Gunn, and in the movie and the show he mostly serves as the goofy figure with misguided ideas about heroism, shaped by a toxic, traumatic upbringing under a cruel and bigoted redneck. He’s there so other characters can highlight how wrong and ridiculous he is, and much of what makes him work comes from his dynamic with the other characters Gunn created. Because of that, he wouldn’t really work as a lead on his own, you’d need an ensemble for him to interact and banter with.And if we're talking about better promote the previous version of the character in the comics, what would be the point when he is so different from the one from the movie and show?

But that's just it. Peacemaker S2 merely felt like a disjointed ignition sequence for the Gunnverse. And the worst part was, they simply threw Cena into an alternate dimension and called it a day.What's truly strange is that Economos, of all people, turned out to be the most satisfying part of the season.
