For every piece of children's media where the bully exists and the MC has friends to help him out or loving parents, or has some drive/motivation in reality that kid IRL might have none of those things or one of them but still ends up being uncreative or not motivated enough to maintain friendships or develop a skill/passion. I'm one of those. I have a great family. Never could make friends and I am struggling to figure out what my passion is. Anyway, blog part over, I'd just say it's fiction, it's rosy, and yeah those hang ups can be a drag but in this case, this show was just kinda mid.
