Miles deserves to be the main spider-man, he's worked hard for it.
>>155142941first he needs a memorable original villain
>>155142975Aaand /thread
You know, the turn off the dark suit is spray painted also and is so much better lookingHas this little nigga ever heard of a stencil? You could airbrush your fabric and still have it look clean
>>155142941Stan Lee said spiderman should be whiteIf you aren't a race realist you just can't be /co/ anymore
>>155143427I saw him saw the opposite.
>>155142941What'd he do to earn it?
>>155142941He needs at least two more extra powers before I can accept him as spider man
>>155143511Only whites can be spiderman? Might have been that but his jist was the same
>>155143572And 20 more IQ points to compete with koko the gorilla
>>155143609Correct which is part of what makes miles terrible is all his alt costumes show off his blackness
>>155143645What else is there to Miles?
If that means letting someone else be the subject of Editorials 'love', then sure.
>>155143409I kinda fuck with Spidey spray painting his first suit and eventually moving into the more traditional stuff when he's more established.
How do you make Miles work? Because he's clearly not popular on his own. Even in his movies people talk about every other spiderman more than him and he's only ever brought up for race or shipping discourse.
>>155144420Miles can't work as a spiderman and most attempts just makes him look like an industry plant feeding off of Peter's scraps, and when it's not that it's turning him into Spider-robin. Take his character, the name, design, backstory if he even has one, family, etc, and just give him something else, like a sea creature motif, and make him his own hero with his own world. He simply can't work as a spiderman.
>>155144420If he wants to be spider-man he needs to move to Boston as an MIT student and operate out of that cityIf he wants to stay in New York he needs to change his nameSuggestions include Amperachnid, Gridweaver, Webolt, Silkcircuit, and The Bewildering Brown-RecluseIt's too bad livewire is already a thing, and ffs it makes more sense to call him lightning bug
>>155144420He needs to leave fucking New York and break out into this 'own thing' literally anywhere else there isn't a half dozen other Spiders making this superfluous. He also needs Peter to have his shackles broken so there isn't another glut of 'for the youth' Spider-Men to explore different parts of life.In short, he like everyone else needs a different editorial.
>>155144420Miles has good story beats over the years but they never get adapted because his origin is hard to tackle with the whole Peter dying thing. He would need a spider-man animated series like retelling of his ultimate universe stories, one that leaves room for an eventual Peter return that isn't whatever the hell Bendis did for Peter's revival. Otherwise every new adaptation is going to trip over themselves trying to balance both a Peter story and Miles origin like the insomniac games.Things like Miles having to inherit Peter's career midway where the villains have already gotten experience when he's is starting his journey at an even younger age than Peter was is good stakes and his dad and uncle having criminal backgrounds with dad working to stop him as Spider-man being a cop while his uncle is actively manipulating and antagonizing him is good drama, they just can't do that with Peter being his mentor as well.
>>155142941You know what? As someone who doesn't even like Miles... yeah, I agree.Do it.Fucking.Do it.Amazing Spider-Man has been a shambling corpose for more than 20 years and we all know it. It is completely beyond redemption, with any attempt at fixing the damage being fervently stonewolled by the powers that be. Let's just... let it die. After that, let Miles either sink or swim on his own. He can inherit the entire Rogue's gallery that the desperately needs while Peter gets to rest in peace. Everyone wins
