He has no supporting cast to work with.

>hurdurr Titans, Babs, Tim, and other batfamily members
If most of the characters are going to be Titans or batfamily members then WB would rightfully just make a Titans show or Batman show for superior brand power.

I agree, what's the point of making robin a solo act if he never gets his own stories adapted

They’d have to cobble together 30 years worth of civilian characters with an average of like 15 appearances in order to make a half way decent supporting cast for a TV show and even then they’d have to change half of them to make them better lmao.

>Amy and Gannon as his good cop friends
>all the other cops as civilian antagonists
>Shawn and Bea as the main love interests with other even lesser ones like Deborah, Cheyenne, and Raya
>Bridget Clancy as another relationship tease that turns to be his best friend because Dick has literally no recurring civilian friends in the comics
>Run Offs as the lovable wannabe heroes/former villains

His villains suck as a whole too but at least there’s a lot to choose from so they can choose the better ones and a lot of mid ones are salvageable.

Yeah, so we can adapt all those great Dick Grayson stories like... uh... and use all the cool characters in his rogues gallery like... um...

Well okay, but at least he's got interesting personality traits like... huh...

Hmm, if only there was some way create new narratives. Perhaps using a series of symbols that create meaning when combined together. We could then use those symbol combinations in a linked format to define action and reaction.

>batman sidekick grown up
>batman sidekick grown up
>kingpin ripoff
>the definition of filler in a villain splash page, also has he ever been in Dick's solo
>Batman villain
>Batman villain
>only based one here
>one of the worst characters to grace his book
>other than forced Dark Crisis, hasn't been connected to Dick since 2010

Riveting.

For a Nightwing cartoon there is very little from Nightwing comics.
>>
>>155147792
Because there is nothing in Nightwing comics.
>>
>>155148053
There is a bunch of stuff in Nightwing comics, regardless of whether or not you personally like it.

Dick doesn't have the villains or supporting cast for it. He might have enough for 1-3 movies if they cherry pick 3-4 of his better villains and make up some shit for some of his supporting characters they pull out of a hat though.

why keep it at just nightwing? would be funny if booster gold showed up out of nowhere for nightwing, terry mcguiness and the booster gold had to team up because of shenanigans involving Epoch and Francis Grey

I'm picturing serialized storytelling that tries to directly adapt arcs from the comics, like the X-Men cartoon. Season-long narratives but episodic villain of the week storytelling.

Season One: A Knight in Bludhaven
>Nightwing moves to Gotham's corrupt sister city to build his own legacy, fighting a brutal mafia empire without Batman's help.
>Dixon run. Some Wolfman. Focus on Blockbuster, Shrike, and Lady Vic

Season Two: The Lazarus Contract
>When Deathstroke "gifts" his lethal daughter Rose Wilson to Nightwing, Dick must de-program her while protecting his city from a dark wave of psychedelic horror.
>Grayson, Priest, with Morrison and Snyder villains. Focus on Deathstroke, Ravager, and Professor Pyg

Season Three: Leaping into the Light
>After inheriting billions, Dick uses public philanthropy and social work to rebuild Blüdhaven, but his mission is derailed by a charismatic mentor from his past and a terrifying new serial killer.
>Taylor and Seeley runs. Focus on Heartless, Raptor, and the Runoffs.

Season Four: Blockbuster
>Blockbuster launches a devastating, personal assault to strip Nightwing of everything he loves, pushing a broken Dick Grayson into an alliance with a ruthless new vigilante.
>Grayson, Taylor. Focus on Blockbuster, Tarantula, and the Vigilante

Season 5: The Gray Son
>A terrifying secret society claims Nightwing as their prophesied assassin, erasing his memory to weaponize him for a project bred directly into his circus bloodline.
>Snyder, Jurgens. Focus on the Court of Owls. Ric Grayson.

I think it should probably end here. But there's more stories you could do.

Season 6: Agent of Spyral
>Forced to fake his death after his identity is compromised in the fallout of the Court war, Dick goes deep undercover to dismantle a global, rogue espionage network.

He was meant to be a major part of Rebirth Deathstroke before Didio made Priest write him out.
