>>155154792This is why this show is such an incredibly bizarre and fascinating product to me.It would’ve been cheaper, easier, and less brand-confused to simply dub the original show, but they decided to hand this cutesy franchise to a such a distinctly well-known gross-out animator and let him do whatever he wanted with it. So the end result is this hybrid of reused animation and entirely new and visually clashing animation that doesn’t quite work but is so fascinating to watch that it gets a pass.It’s almost like Space Ghost Coast to Coast or Sealab 2021 in that it’s mostly reused footage with new dialogue and editing, but this definitely had more of a budget.
