Do you prefer though bubbles or narration boxes for internal thinking of a character? Or do prefer neither and for the audience to use speech to infer what someone is thinking?

I prefer whatever best suits the flow and composition of a given sequence. Narration boxes do feel more appropriate for action/drama comics, and thought bubbles more appropriate for gag comics, though.
