>>155151623I think he was lying so a character he created would be the focus of any potential continuation and he might pick up residuals or something, the eyes are very clearly not Naugus eyes. Who knows if it was ever anything more than a "Mystery Box", but Knuckles would be more likely than Metal Sonic based on the time a season 3 would be released.
